YTAC Executive Board Of Directors

Young Texans Against Cancer is governed by a 7 member Executive Board comprised of current and former chapter leaders from around the state. The Executive Board provides oversight to chapter boards, compliance of YTAC’s Mission Statement and 501(c)(3) status, coordination and submittals of annual tax returns, implementation of risk management and growth strategies

Matthew Gordon | President, 2011-2013

Matthew Gordon served on the Houston Chapter Board of Directors from 2006-2010 in different positions, including President. In 2010, Matt was elected to create the YTAC Executive Board and named President commencing January 2011. In this capacity, Matt will oversee the implementation of the board, its policies, compliance and governance of the organization.

Matt is a Houston native and a graduate of The Kinkaid School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising at Southern Methodist University. After graduating in 2003, Matt worked for the Dallas Cowboys until 2006. After leaving the Dallas Cowboys he earned is Real Estate Salesman License in and became a Principle of Gordon Partners LLC, a boutique real estate development company in Houston, where Matt oversees construction, property management and finances.

Matt is also member of American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), The Holocaust Museum of Houston and a board member of Kinkaid’s YPO.

Holly Deshields | Secretary, 2011-2013

Holly Deshields founded the YTAC Austin Chapter in 2007 and served as President of the chapter through 2010. Holly was elected as Secretary of the YTAC Executive Board and oversees growth and development of YTAC.

Holly is Chief of Staff for State Senator Mike Jackson and has worked in the Texas Legislature for over 10 years. She oversees the day-to-day operations of Senator Jackson's Capitol and district offices and acts as the liaison for the senator when working with constituents, the lobby, the media, state agencies, fellow legislators' offices, and the executive branch. Holly also staffs Senator Jackson on issues relating to education, state affairs, redistricting, finance, nominations, and economic development.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Government from The University of Texas at Austin and is married to Glenn Deshields, a lobbyist and fellow UT-Austin graduate.

Mark Young | Treasurer, 2011-2013

Mark Young served on the Houston Chapter Board of Directors from 2006-2009 in several positions, including Secretary. In 2010, Mark was elected to the Treasury position of the YTAC Executive Board. In this capacity, Mark will oversee the organization’s tax return and compliance, risk management, and 501(c)(3) compliance.

Mark is a Houston native and a graduate of The St. Johns School. He earned a undergraduate degree in business and finance from Washington University in St. Louis as well as a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law. Mark currently is a Managing Director in the Houston office of Alvarez & Marsal Taxand, a global professional services and consulting firm, where his focus is on tax and business advisory services.

Mark’s time is spent with his wife, Marcy, and two children. Mark and Marcy are supportive of cancer related charities and are also active members of The Children’s Fund.

Stephanie Reinhart Frugé | Director

Stephanie Frugé currently serves as the Houston Chapter President since July of 2010 and holds the position of Director on the YTAC Executive Board. Stephanie was an active social committee member since joining YTAC in 2008.

Stephanie was born and raised in Galveston, TX where she graduated from Galveston Ball High School. Stephanie began her college studies at the University of Texas at Austin and completed her studies at the University of Houston where she received both her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Masters of Business Administration.

Following graduate school, Stephanie spent five years with Comerica Bank as a senior credit analyst and relationship manager in Commercial Real Estate in Austin, TX and National Dealer Services in Orange County, CA. In 2008, Stephanie returned to Houston, TX with BBVA Compass Bank as a Vice-President in Wealth Management Underwriting and Portfolio Management.

Stephanie volunteers with Texas Children’s Hospital, the Junior League of Houston and her church, Grace Bible Church. Stephanie is married to her husband, Jordan Frugé.

Garrett Holloway | Director

Garrett Holloway has served on the Dallas Chapter Board of Directors since the group’s inception in 2008. Garrett started as Treasurer in Dallas and assumed role of Vice President 2010. Now, Garrett serves as Director YTAC Executive Board as well as his chapter duties.

Garrett is a Houston native and a graduate of The Kinkaid School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Southern Methodist University in 1999 and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas in 2004.

After MBA school, Garrett went to work for the Trammell Crow Company in Dallas, Texas in their Global Corporate Services division. Garrett lead the division’s business development initiative in the Upper Midwest region until 2006. After the merger with CB Richard Ellis, Garrett has held different positions including Director - GCS Account Renewals, Managing Director of Business Development for Texas, and is currently a Managing Director in CBRE’s Healthcare Services practice.

Brande Bradshaw | Director

Brande Bradshaw became a member of YTAC in 2004 while living in Houston. In 2006 she returned to Austin and accepted the role of Social Chairman for the Austin Chapter. Brande is now the Austin Chapter President and serves as a Director on the YTAC Executive Board.

Brande is originally from Waco, TX and is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin where she earned her Bachelors in Business Administration. She currently works for Spiceworks as an Account Executive.

Outside of work and YTAC, Brande can be found jogging Town Lake or just hanging out with friends. She is excited about her roles as President of the Austin Chapter and Director on the Executive Board and looks forward to continued growth for YTAC!

Brent Conger | Director

Brent Conger started the San Antonio Chapter of YTAC in 2009 and is still serving as the President. He also serves as a Director on the Executive Board.

Brent is a San Antonio native and a graduate of Alamo Heights High School. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics at The University of Texas at Austin.

After graduating in 2002, Brent moved to Dallas and worked for a litigation copying company called Monster Legal. After working in sales for 2 years he was promoted to managing partner where he worked for 2 more years before his move to Ft. Worth. In Ft. Worth Brent worked for Greenwood Office Outfitters for 2 years and then decided to move back home because his father’s cancer had become worse. In San Antonio Brent worked at Jones & Cook Stationers for a short period before taking on the project of restoring Kiddie Park.

Brent currently is the managing partner of Kiddie Park and is running the day to day operations of the park and company. Brent is also a member of the German Club and the Order of the Alamo.
